Nova Scotia 55+ Games Society UPDATE
We had a very successful and safe 55+ Provincial games in Yarmouth and Acadian Shores in 2021.
Thanks to Rick Allwright and Candice Phibbs of Mile East Productions and Neil MacKenzie and Malcolm Seaboyer of YASTA for doing such a great job organizing this huge event. There were over 700 participants in 19 different activities.

Qualifying participants from our provincial games are now preparing to attend the 55+ National Games in Kamloops from August 23rd – 25th, 2022.
There are 137 participants registered from Nova Scotia and 28 non participants (spouses and family members) for a total of 165.
As this is the first year Newfoundland will have participants attending the Nationals, they have registered with Nova Scotia. Newfoundland has 25 registrants (3 non participants). Welcome Newfoundland and Good luck to all participants!
A huge thank you goes to our CSGA representative, Renda Vandertoorn, and our NS Team Coordinator, Janet MacIsaac (and their family members) who have worked very hard organizing both our NS team and the Newfoundland contingent.
Special thanks also to Bob MacLeod and Brian Richardson who have supported Renda and Janet in their dedicated work to have Team Nova Scotia and Team Newfoundland ready to go!
